HOW IT WORKS

Wedding Forex is streamlined and simple to use – we want to save you time, as well as money. Once you register, you are taken through to our payments provider where you will be able to access your own personal account. There, you will be able to view live rates, place live bookings and even use tools options to help you purchase the best currency rate possible.

A Step-By-Step Guide

Let’s say you want to pay for your wedding venue overseas. The wedding venue you have chosen has given you an invoice for 10,000 EUR.

Step 1. 

You firstly need to login to your account and go to ‘Secure A Rate’. 

 

Step 2. 

On screen you will see ‘Currency I Have’ and ‘Currency I Need’ - you only need to select one. Using the example above, select ‘Currency I Need’ because we already know we need to pay the wedding venue 10,000 EUR.

 

Step 3. 

Enter the amount (10,000 EUR) and enter the date you would like payment to be sent to the venue.

 

Step 4. 

Click ‘Get My Rate’. 

 

Step 5. 

This screen now gives you a live rate for the amount you will be paying to your wedding venue. The rates you see on screen can change up to 4x per second. This is because we are working with live rates to give you a more competitive exchange rate.

 

Step 6. 

If you are happy with the rate you see, click ‘Accept’. You will see a box pop up on screen, which needs to be ticked in order to confirm your chosen rate. Once that’s done, your rate is secured, and currency will be purchased for you. 

 

Step 7. 

Fill in your recipient’s bank details. You can also add in your supplier’s email address so they get confirmation of this payment being sent to them via Wedding Forex.

 

Step 8. 

Make a bank transfer to the bank details provided by us in your Wedding Forex confirmation email. Please remember to include your payment reference number or full name in the reference field.

 

Step 9. 

You are all done! If you want to view your payment status at any time, go into ‘Review Payments’ on your account.

A Step-By-Step Guide

Let’s say you need to invoice your client for your services in EURs. The cost of the work completed is 10,000 EUR and you want to guarantee you’ll receive the correct amount.

Step 1. 

Log into your account and go to ‘Secure A Rate’. 

 

Step 2. 

On-screen you will see ‘Currency I Have’ and ‘Currency I Need’, you only need to select one. Using the example above, select ‘Currency I Need’ because we already know we need to receive 10,000 EUR from your clients. 

 

Step 3. 

Enter the amount (10,000 EUR) and enter the date by which you need to receive it. 

 

Step 4. 

Click ‘Get My Rate’. 

 

Step 5. 

This screen now gives you a live rate for the amount your client will need to send you in order for you to receive the full 10,000 EUR. The rates you see on screen can change up to 4x per second. This is because we are working with live rates to give you a more competitive exchange rate.

 

Step 6.

If you are happy with the rate you see, click ‘Accept’ where you will get a box pop up on screen. Once you have ticked the box you will secure your rate and the currency is purchased for you at that particular rate you have agreed. 

 

Step 7. 

Fill in YOUR bank details as you will be receiving this payment. If you have already set up your details just select these from the drop-down list. 

 

Step 8. 

Forward your confirmation email to your client, and simply ask them to make payment to the bank details provided by Wedding Forex. Ask them to remember to include your payment reference number or your company name in the reference field when sending into us.

 

Step 9. 

You are all done! If you want to view your payment status at any time, go into ‘Review Payments’ on your account. You will receive confirmation as soon as your client has sent their funds to you.
